Man it seems like a long time since my last entry.  But, with the Holidays and tons of things going on, writing was not on the top of my list of things to do.  Well I'm back now and ready to go.  I just wanted to share that we held our first Women's ministry bible study on January 19th and it was great.  Yes, we had a few technical difficulties, but my husband helped us get it taken care of and the show went on.  We had 30 women in attendance and it was really fun.  We had worship, an ice-breaker game and a skit to start out.  We then watched a video from Joyce Meyer Ministries concerning the Love Revolution, which brought tears to the eyes of many of our women.  We picked secret sisters, picked up our mission for the month (take someone out for coffee or have them over to your house) and then had some "good ole" fellowship.  It really is encouraging to get together with our sisters in Christ.

I want to thank my entire team for all their hard work. Each one of them has a different calling on their life and they have a passion for what they do.  I never have to worry that something is not going to get done.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday February 16th at 7:00PM at our church. Child care is available.  We want everyone to be able to come.  We will try to keep our meetings to about an hour and a half.  We understand that you may have children in school and a job that you need to be at early in the morning.

This is my challenge to you.  Come and bring a friend, let’s see if we can double our attendance this time.  Our goal is to touch as many women with the love of Jesus as we can.

I will let you in on a little secret.  Nancy Tamkin will be a guest speaker at our February meeting. She shared her beautiful cabin in Fort Valley with the Women's Ministry leadership team in November of last year.  She is a dear friend and  a beautiful, mighty woman of God.  You don't want to miss it.

See You in February!

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to teach women a practical way to stand on the Word of God for every circumstance they may encounter in their lives. Building strong women who know who they are in Christ, not afraid to stand against their adversary (the devil), women who will stand up and take back what has been stolen from them by the enemy, women becoming what God has called them to be in their homes, jobs, churches and communities.
